2011 Hyundai Sonata
After everything we went through and test driving 10 cars, we picked this at the last minute. The reason for this change was that I had talked to my Wife's Dad and he suggested this He reads car mags all the time and noted the the critics are raving about it. They actually let me drive it for home and to return after work the next day (thanks to Justin Baker at Massey Hyundai in Hagerstown). It was a cool ride and not bad for a Sedan as I need a more family car than my olde 2000 Mercury Cougar.
Now for the fun part, I want to make it a Itasha Car and my wife is backing me 100%. Sometimes, she really does love me!
I am planning to go totally Gurren Lagann it out with Yoko as my main babe. To give you an idea, I made some pictures up with Photoshop using the actual car and color. My wife is already saying I need to more to it, so the design phase will take some time.
Even in a draft phase right now, the back window is a go once I can find a price. The background will be the same color as the car with the Team Gurren logo in the center. I plan to knock out the eyes and nose so they are clear.
