My wife hates this day as it celebrates the day that "St. Patrick chased the snakes out of Ireland". Actually what he really did was chase the Druid out. He needed to "chase" the Druid Priests out of Ireland so that he could spread the Christianity to the large Pagan community. There have never been snakes in Ireland :P
