Cosplay Costume : Megumi Shimizu ( Episode 4 ver )

I know riteeee ~ I haven't been updating much lately ! Been busy with work , making costumes , if not more work and also photoshoots . I rarely even blog about my life now because I have nothing to share at the moment , but recently I bought lots of new make-up stuffs and I can't wait to blog about it soon =)

This is one of the many costumes that I have been working on since early March ? I love Shiki very much as it was different from the usual kind of anime that I used to watch . Shiki is very dark and interesting . lol . My favourite character ? Definitely , Megumi Shimizu .

Overall this costume wasn't very difficult to make but gathering the accessories was . . painful . Belts , studded collars , fingerless gloves , rings , earrings etc . Was running around looking for everything and finally it's complete and ready to go ! * w *

Now I need to find free time for a photoshoot ! ♥

Dolly + Red Review

Ohai !

Haven't been updating my blog this week because I'm working on some projects lately and I can't find time to blog , log in Facebook or even play my favourite RPG ! * sweats * Today is Sunday so I took some time off and do a review on my second pair of Dolly + contact lens in Red !

Today I'm also testing out the new costume that I made recently and trimmed my new wig for next month's photoshoot so yeah that explains why I'm in blue wig lol .

Dolly + Red

Size : 16.00 mm

Water Content : 55 %

Base Curve : 8.6

Duration : 1 year disposable

I'm so loving this lens ! I cannot explain why , but so far this is the most awesome red contact lens that I ever tried on ! The colour is so amazing and gives me this big dolly eyes which I can never achieve without it . Love the black thick rims around it * two thumbs up * It's highly recommended if you are interested in getting a pair of red lens !

Really glad that I choose to buy Dolly + Red because I'll be needing this for like three characters that I'm going to cosplay real soon ! * madly in love *

This is one of the four costumes that I will be rushing to complete for the photoshoot in May ! My first time making pleats , a bit headache bout and didn't turn out the way I visualized it to be but next time I'll do better ! Can you guess what series is this costume from ?

Comic Fiesta 2010 costumes

Finally it's done !

If I haven't missed out anything important , hope not ~ It's pretty challenging for me this time because my sewing machine is semi-crippled . For some reason , it's not working right most of the time . Like it purposely go against me because it knows that I'm rushing . * pulls hair * So almost 60 % of it is hand sewn . Fml .

I seriously think that my sewing machine is throwing tantrum because I haven't been maintaining it properly . * cough bad owner cough *

My fav part of this costume is most probably the giant bow . ♥

Funny fact bout both of my costumes :

1) It's black and white

2) Has lots of frills

3) Has giant bow at the back

4) Has cuffs

Believe me it's totally unintentional . ( o w o )

. . . and now I need a pair of black pumps ! * fingers crossed * I hope I can find one in Times Square tomoro or I'll be screwed big time . ( ;_____; )

Are you ready for AFA X ?

Everyone seems so hyped up by this event . So am I ! This will be my first AFA and I'm looking forward towards meeting more friends ! You see , I'm too shy during Cosfest that I barely talk to anybody . * blush * But I did made some friends ~ really hope to spend some quality time with them !

I WILL BE SEEING MAY'N !! I talked to B last night about her concert that I really really really hope to see her " live " . Guess what ? He agreed to sponsor me the ticket ! * doing my happy dance * Actually I think he couldn't stand me playing her songs again and again through you tube . I've been telling him how awesome May'n is and sang her " Universal Bunny " repeatedly everyday while sewing . Eventhough I'm off key but I don't k . hur hur ! ♥ ♥ ♥

Lately I have been working hard on my costumes ! This is my second time making two costumes totally from scratch . The first time didn't go well so I'm kinda disappointed . ( ;______ ; ) Hope that I can do my fav characters justice this time ! Can you guess what am I trying to make ?

The base for both costumes is done . So now I only need to add on details and extra stuffs . I'm so relieved ! I wouldn't want to rush my costume and give myself unnecessary stress before the event itself . I don't want any super dark circles or pimples . . . Surprisingly , sewing this costume is super enjoyable for me . It didn't give me any headache at all ! I guess playing May'n 's songs helps . * winks winks *

It fits perfectly ! * throws confetti * I'm always scared that the costume would be too big or too small . This time it's just perfect ! Can't wait to finish it soon . * gets super excited *
